I wrote this for my very dear friend, Ben Lipitz.

As the title suggests, a very tongue-in-cheek nod to the great and extremely well-known Fanfare by Aaron Copland.  And also uses the very same personal as the superior piece by Copland. However, the nod. should not and does not distract from the fact I greatly admire and respect my friend Ben, who really is an extraordinary man who has devoted so much of his life to bring joy to others and works tirelessly creating special benefit events to raise funds for less fortunate people and charities.
