This is the music for the opening number of the musical, LIAR LIAR.

(no, the musical has never been finished or produced, it was just a BMI first year writing project).

This musical scene starts with an average morning for Fletcher Reede (a guy who can't tell the truth - he's a lawyer). He wakes up, showers, arrives late to work as the entire office is a cacophony of sounds. Fletcher gets off the elevator and immediately starts lying to everyone. Telling them how well they look, that he likes their clothes, etc.. all lies. Fletcher tell us he "spins" the truth to make everyone fell good and be happy. Everyone thinks Fletcher always knows THE RIGHT THING TO SAY.

The recording and video are an orchestra instrumental of the song. (Also included is the short Prologue Overture that’s goes directly into the song - The Opening number of the musical.)
