I wanted to write an ambient/meditative piece. I finished the first section and it was very simple with absolutely no melody just the reoccurring ostinato. I couldn't help myself, but I added a melody to go over it because I didn’t want it to sound so dull even though it was still quite beautiful without the English horn melody I added.  It was very calming writing this piece. I hope you enjoy it. close your eyes and relax and perhaps it will help you fall asleep.
