When you like several things but can ONLY have one. How do you choose? What emotions does it bring up? Stress, intrigue, confusion, distraught, joy, anger, love.
I wanted to explore this in a few musical episodes.
I really am especially pleased with the "chorale section" I wrote at the end of the piece at 4:26 that expresses the love of something new yet a hint of the sorrow for loss. I wrote a simple melody and accompanied it in a rather sophisticated harmony reminiscent of days-gone-by.
